Laboratory expansion Lauterhofen - DAS LABOR
Within the laboratory extension, the technological and visual possibilities were fully exploited and an interactive showroom was created.
The extension of the existing laboratory at Betonwerk Meier in Lauterhofen was created with the aim of making Green Code components tangible and conveying as many design variants and solution approaches as possible to potential customers. Sensors were embedded in the ground-floor structure to visually display the thermal insulation properties and the temperature curve in the wall itself.
The technical components of a photovoltaic system on the roof and a heat pump with ground storage, whose performance is also visually displayed inside by monitors, make the building an efficient and environmentally friendly structure. The ground collectors are located under the building. The walls as well as the air-conditioning ceiling were left in their concrete appearance. The building itself was turned slightly due to the boundary and connected to the existing building with a connecting structure. The inclination of the existing building was taken up with a climate control ceiling and thus adapted to the existing building. Here it became clear that individual solutions are also possible at any time with Green Code products.
The structure itself stands out clearly from the existing building due to its concise form, the supposed functional building thus becomes a "treasure chest" and its contents the "think tank" of the company.
