A Prefabricated Wall Element

The Green Code Thermo Wall® is an industrially prefabricated wall element consisting of two thermally bridge-free interconnected, precisely dimensioned reinforced concrete panels with internal thermal insulation. The outer, non-load-bearing facade panel provides mechanical protection for the thermal insulation. Structural reinforcement tailored to individual requirements is provided in the inner panel and in the in-situ concrete core.

The Thermo Wall ensures consistent indoor temperature and enables "KlimaHaus A Standard" or "Passive House Standard." It harnesses concrete as an excellent thermal storage medium. Depending on the season, the warmth from solar radiation is carried through the night, or the cool of the night is retained into the next day. All building systems are integrated or preparation for installation is complete.

Thermal wall with integrated insulation and visible reinforcement in cross-section model

The Green Code Thermo Wall® offers an innovative and efficient solution for treating your building envelope based on thermal insulation principles. This sustainable, custom-tailored solution combines technical and aesthetic benefits and fits perfectly into today's world. The wall is cast horizontally on metal formwork and compacted through multi-stage compaction, resulting in a smooth surface finish. The perfect foundation for appealing concrete aesthetics or any other wall and facade design. On site, concrete surfaces are cleaned and finished.

The Advantages

  • Solid, long-lasting construction, outstanding fire protection, optimized concrete formulation (carbon-neutral manufacturing by 2050), consistently high quality, various shapes and dimensions, BIM planning, reduced construction time, optimized construction costs, immediately usable and accessible, space-saving on site, enhanced worker safety, clean construction site with less noise and traffic.
  • Individual surface finish options
  • Various wall thicknesses, depending on manufacturing facility
  • Different exposure classes, including XF4, achievable with "white tub"
  • Integrated insulation for optimized energy balance
  • Optimal sound protection
  • Versatile applications: ideally suited for any construction project, such as commercial and industrial buildings, office buildings, residential buildings, hotel buildings, agricultural buildings

Surface Design

Surface design can be executed in a variety of ways: In addition to textured concrete and colored concrete, it can also be produced with a ground, brushed, or bushhammered aesthetic. The outer panel can additionally be finished with sharp edges. Following the installation of elements on site and the curing of in-situ concrete, a structurally monolithic facade system is created.
